Jones Intercable: A Smart Choice

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – After reports of unusual occurrences near the Mojave Space Port, a collection of audio transmissions were recorded and shared between 2011 and 2013 by an anonymous artist and former employee of Jones Intercable in the Antelope Valley. In 2011, researches at the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI) speculated that the series of 60-minute audio transmissions, also received by the organization, are primitive communication attempts of an extraterrestrial nature.

In an official statement, the Federal Bureau of Investigation said that the satellite endured frequent meteor attacks which caused a glitch in the operating system. The original purpose of this secret satellite, named the “KH-11 Kennan,” was to intercept radio signals from pirate radio stations in the early 1980s. Alexander M. Haig, Jr., Secretary of State under then President Ronald Reagan, declared that Communists were using these open radio signals to corrupt America’s youth into a life of Communism. In 1987, NASA mysteriously lost communication with the satellite and these music transmissions went unheard for over two decades. No evidence of Communist communication was ever found.

Nevertheless, researchers at the California Institute of Technology are working toward reverse-engineering the satellite’s electro-opticaldigital imaging technology in an attempt to capture an image of the satellite’s current interior. These strange audio (and sometimes visual) transmissions, received from origins unknown, are painstakingly documented and shared on this website. Due to the use of unclassifiable frequencies collected in these archival recordings, listener discretion is strongly advised.
